Donald Eastlake

Donald is a Principal Engineer with Huawei Technologies working on advanced network product research and standards. He was previously with Cisco Systems and before that with Motorola Laboratories. Donald is Co-Chair of the IETF TRILL Working Group that is specifying the protocol standards for TRILL Switches (RBridges) as well as the author of the TRILL base protocol standard. He also chairs the IETF Point to Point Protocol Extensions (PPPEXT)) Working Group, the IEEE 802.11ak General Link Task Group and is a voting member of IEEE 802.1. He was the original architect of DNS Security and is the author of 59 IETF RFCs.
